Spuhr® New Generation 40mm Modular Grenade Launcher Mount – Precision Through Modularity
The Spuhr® Modular 40mm Mount represents a new standard in mission-adaptable fire-control accessories for 40mm grenade launchers. Developed to maximize first-round hit probability regardless of munition, the system introduces a groundbreaking interchangeable Ranging Unit that delivers unmatched flexibility in the field.
Interchangeable Ranging Units Tailored for Every Ammunition Type
At the core of the design is a robust, easy-to-swap Ranging Unit fitted with pre-engineered ballistics, including trajectory and spin-drift compensation. Each Ranging Unit is individually zeroed once, allowing users to maintain precise, repeatable accuracy without re-zeroing when switching between ammunition types.
Operators can build a complete set of mission-specific Ranging Units — enabling seamless transitions between different 40mm munitions regardless of whether changing between lethal and/or less-lethal munition.
Enhanced Accuracy and Consistency
The built-in ballistic corrections within each Ranging Unit significantly reduce user errors, thereby increasing the likelihood of accurate first-round impact. By integrating spin-drift and trajectory data into the Ranging Unit, the Modular Grenade Launcher Sight Mount is even more user friendly than the legacy GLSM produced by Spuhr®.
Reduced Training Burden – Increased Operational Readiness
As each Ranging Unit comes delivered with built-in trajectory and spindrift compensation, operators require less time and ammo expenditure to become proficient, thereby providing an instant return on investment within the first training sessions.
Mission-Focused Versatility
Whether supporting peacekeeping operations, law-enforcement tasks, or military missions, the Spuhr® Modular 40mm Mount provides reliable adaptability. Its rugged construction, intuitive Ranging Unit replacement, and consistent precision, make it a force multiplier for units requiring dependable, repeatable performance with multiple ammunition types.
First generation GR-mounts (Patented)
Recognizing the variety of launchers and munitions available, the ballistic bow-at the core of the GLSM-is precisely manufactured to match the exterior ballistics of the specific launcher and ammunition specified by the customer.
With design for use with HE low-velocity munitions, the GR-1000/1001/1003 features a ballistic bow with range settings from 50 to 350 meters. For enhanced usability in low-light conditions, the rear of the ballistic bow includes Luminova or tritium inserts for the 100, 200 and 300-meter range settings.
